Getting started

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Pin the QuickAsk icon to your toolbar for easy access.
Highlight any text on a page — a small toolbar appears with options to ask AI, save a highlight, or copy.
Sign in with Google when you are ready to sync your notes, tasks, and highlights across devices.

Asking AI

Select text, then click Ask AI in the toolbar — your selection is copied to the clipboard and a tab opens on the AI provider you chose.
Switch providers in Settings: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+X (⌘+Shift+X on Mac) to open the AI popup directly.

Notes & tasks

Open the QuickAsk side panel from the toolbar icon.
Switch between Notes / Tasks / Highlights tabs at the top of the panel.
Sign-in is required for sync. While signed out, content is kept locally only.
Plan limits (note tabs, characters per note, task count) are listed on the Pricing page.

Sensitive sites

QuickAsk auto-disables itself on banking, crypto, payment, and cloud-admin sites. You can manage this from Settings > Whitelist / Blacklist domains if you want to override the defaults. Read more on the Privacy page.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

Locally in chrome.storage.local while you are signed out; on our servers (synced via HTTPS) once you sign in. Full details on the Privacy Policy.

How do I export my data?

Open the side panel and use the export button to download all notes, tasks, and highlights as JSON.

How do I delete my account?

Email vietanhbkaaa@gmail.com from the address tied to your account; we permanently remove the account within 7 days.

I hit a plan limit — what do I do?

The extension shows a toast and stops syncing the offending field. Either delete enough items to fit the limit, or upgrade on the Pricing page.
